Dear Valued Customer,
As part of the ongoing integration of our businesses under the PIP Global Safety brand, we are providing advance notice of upcoming packaging and branding updates across select product lines.
What You Will See:
Beginning in May, products and packaging previously branded with Honeywell markings will transition to exclusively use PIP Global Safety and/or PIP Global Safety family brand names (e.g. G-Tek, Miller, etc.).
Changes that you will begin to notice on product and packaging will include:
- Removal of all Honeywell markings
- Utilization of PIP Global Safety branding
- Inclusion of a “by PIP” endorser within family brands (e.g., Miller by PIP)
- Updated and refreshed packaging design
During the transition period, which we expect to last approximately 9–12 months, you will experience situations where you receive products that have full PIP branding for both the package and product, but also may encounter situations where products and packaging are “mixed”, with the product bearing PIP marks, and packaging bearing Honeywell marks (or vice-versa). This is expected and will decrease over time as we fully deplete our existing inventory.
What You Need to Do
No action is required. This is a brand transition only and does not impact ordering, sales, or distribution. Customers may continue to sell this product without interruption during and after the transition, even if the product still displays the legacy Honeywell brand.
What Is Not Changing
Please note the following will remain unchanged:
- Part numbers and UPC codes
- Product specifications, performance, and certifications
- Regulatory compliance and product support
- Products may continue to be sold, distributed, and used without restriction, regardless of their branding/markings
For additional information or support materials, please contact your PIP Sales Representative or Customer Service Team, and thank you for your continued partnership.
Warm regards,
Sheila Schalk
